MOGA 2009 was directed by Mike Griffin (Brawny Bear) at Mark Twain Lake near Stoutsville, Missouri. The theme this year was Westerns. The t-shirt shows Mark Twain in a cowboy outfit, bow-legged, with two GPS units in each holster, ready to draw. It also shows an Arch around Mark Twain because of the sponsorship of the Saint Louis Area Geocaching Association (SLAGA). The event coin is a pistol with a separate holster made of different metals and pistol grips. Of all of the MOGA Events, this coin is the most sought after by collectors.
