]]>The first one was taken with Canon 60D and 17-50 f2.8 Sigma lens.
It was a task trying to get all three to sit and look in the same direction. This was the best we got before they had there fill and said see you later.
These next two are taken with Canon 60D and a 50-150 F2.8 Sigma lens.
I'm really impressed with the quality of photos I'm getting with this new set up.
Thanks for looking and have a great day!

]]>After a while I headed back to the lake to get a panoramic photo of the spring area. It’s one of the best panoramic photos I have taken.

Make sure the volume is all the way up so you can hear them chirping.

The last one was looking to the west.

]]>A special thanks to my Mom and Dad without their help I wouldn’t have been able to take these pictures today.
I don’t know what kind of flowers these are.
These two photos are Bee-Balm.
I don’t know what kind of plant this in but it has a lot of “hairs” around the leaves. If you look at the original photo at 100% you can see them. It was less than two inches tall.
This is probably the most twisted tree limb I have ever found. I shot if at f4 you can really see how the depth of field is minimized. Notice the grass on the right side is in focus just like part of the limb.
This is some of the water running out of the “Social Hole” on the spring branch.
I have another photo that Pam thought I staged but I didn’t. For some un-known reason I can’t get it to attach to this blog post. You can go to the gallery to see it.http://petphotokeepsake.zenfolio.com/p201876051/h3309aa0b#h3309aa0b

]]>I took these in our backyard tonight.
I was hoping to get the large clusters of flowers on the branches but it was too windy so I had to stick with the clusters on the main branches.
Thanks for looking and have a great day!

]]>The Barred Owl started out sitting on the power line I noticed him when I took Shadow outside. I was really wishing he would stay on the power line so I could get a photo of him but he flew away. I looked around and spotted him in the tree across the highway from us. I grabbed my camera and went back out hoping he would stay long enough to get at least one good photo of him. As you can see he waited for me.
After a couple of minutes I started concentrating on the sunrise. I think I nailed it with this first one, what do you think?
As usual work got in the way so I packed it up after getting this close-up of the clouds. What do you think of this one? I’m not sure if I got it the best I could have.
Thanks for stopping in and looking around.
Have a great day!

This one looks like a Dutchman ’s Breeches to me.

This is Shadow.
We rescued Shadow one year ago from Franklin County Humane Society. She has helped fill the hole left by Molly passing. She loves to go to the dog park and just run around. She really enjoys seeing other dogs at the park. This isn’t a very good photo but it’s about the best I can get with my old camera.
